Simply Nutty Chocolate Hot Cake
Show that someone special you’re simply nuts for them with this Simply Nutty Chocolate Hot Cake! Rich, decadent and delicious, it’s sure to earn you some brownie points.
Pre-heat oven to 180°C, fan-forced.
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well. Stir through milk, vanilla, flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and 100g of the chocolate. Be careful not to over mix the dough.
Spoon into 4 x 12cm cast iron skillets or oven proof ramekins. Drizzle over the peanut butter. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until just set.
Remove from the oven, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, sprinkle with toasted peanuts and pretzels and drizzle with peanut butter. Eat straight from the pan!
