Peanut Butter Bark

This Peanut Butter Bark is fun and easy to make and only uses 5 pantry staples!

What you need

1 box Salada biscuits (you will need 6 large squares for this recipe)

225g unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

100g dark chocolate, rough chopped

150g Bega Peanut Butter

This Peanut Butter Bark is fun and easy to make and only uses 5 pantry staples!

Instructions

Step 1.

Preheat oven to 175°C.

Step 2.

Line a 20 x 30cm baking tray with non-stick paper.

Step 3.

Arrange the salada biscuits in a single layer.

Step 4.

Heat the butter and sugar over low heat in a saucepan stirring gently. Once the sugar has melted increase the heat until it starts to boil. Continue to cook without stirring for about 4 minutes.

Step 5.

Remove from the heat and pour over the salada biscuits. Working quickly use a spatula to even out the caramel. Place in the oven for 8 minutes until the slice is bubbling and golden.

Step 6.

Remove from the oven and dollop over the peanut butter and sprinkle over the chocolate. Return to the oven for 1 minute until the chocolate is melted.

Step 7.

Run a knife through the top of the slice to swirl the chocolate and peanut butter together. Set aside to cool.

Step 8.

Break into shards to eat. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
